Shadbolt Centre for the Arts is an award-winning, multi-purpose community arts facility in Deer Lake Park, Burnaby. Genesis Theatre is a 400-seat classic proscenium community theatre in Ladner (Delta), BC, ideal for dramatic performances, concerts, cultural events, rehearsals, recitals, and lectures. The fully raked auditorium provides excellent sightlines, and the main stage is equipped with complete sound, lighting, and fly systems. Eight removable front-row seats allow wheelchair accommodation. Renovations and seismic upgrades were completed in 2016. The venue is available for community use on weekends, holidays, and school-day evenings (by booking request).

Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam is a full-scale entertainment destination featuring a 1,100-seat Show Theatre that hosts concerts, comedy and special events. Centre Stage at Surrey City Hall is an innovative 200-seat venue inside City Hall, adjacent to Civic Plaza and easily accessible from Surrey Central SkyTrain station. Known for its “amazing acoustics,” it’s well suited to live music, film screenings, small-scale theatre and dance, as well as conferences, seminars and meetings. Rentals are bookable at an hourly rate (additional staffing costs may apply) and the venue books up quickly—rental inquiries are recommended at least six weeks in advance. Liability insurance is required, and venue tours are available by appointment. Note: City Hall does not accept bookings for political or religious campaigns, events or meetings.

ANNEX is an intimate, flexible black box performance space operated by Vancouver Civic Theatres, located adjacent to the historic Orpheum in downtown Vancouver. Designed for contemporary productions and cabaret-style setups, it features a two-level layout with retractable seating for up to 191 guests and hosts theatre, live music, and dance.

Waterfront Theatre is a 224-seat soft-seat proscenium theatre on Granville Island in Vancouver, located next to the Granville Island Kids Market. Housed in the former Tyee Machinery Building and transformed into a theatre over 30 years ago, it features raked seating, a raised proscenium stage framed by drapes, ample performance space, a concession area, and a lobby art gallery—making it well suited to performances and festivals.
